The project

Wolmec Group has recently completed the design and construction of an advanced production plant for the chemical industry, focusing on bulk powder handling. This system is designed with a production capacity of 50 tons per day, meeting the industry’s high productivity and flexibility requirements.

Overview of the Plant and Technical Solutions

Wolmec Group’s involvement covered the entire powder production cycle, from storage to dosing and transport within the mixing machines. The plant is engineered to work seamlessly with an advanced management software that facilitates the mixing of dosed powders with the necessary liquids for recipe formulation.

The key technical features of the plant include:

  • 9 storage silos with variable capacities ranging from 80 to 100 cubic meters.
  • A big bag emptying station dedicated to handling extra additives.
  • 30 screw conveyors for powder transport.
  • 3 gravimetric feeders for precise material dosing.
  • An integrated dust extraction system to ensure process safety and efficiency.

Process Optimization and Technological Innovation

Thanks to a thorough analysis of production processes and the technical expertise of the Wolmec Group team, the plant effectively handles a wide variety of materials, including calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, sands, quartz, and kaolin. All these materials are incorporated into a fully automated management system, ensuring continuous and controlled production with high precision.

The optimization of space and smart placement of machinery was achieved through close collaboration with other companies involved in the project. This resulted in a facility that is highly efficient both in terms of production and energy consumption.
